A thermostatic cold and hot water valve comprises internally three layers of valve core sheets in order as follows: a fixed sheet (8) for inflow of cold and hot water and outflow of mixed water; a rotating sheet (7) for controlling outflow ratio of cold and hot water; and a movable sheet (6) for controlling outflow of mixed water. In operation, the outflow areas of cold and hot water may be changed by rotating a knob on a valve body, thereby controlling the water temperature. A movable ceramic disc (5) is correspondingly provided on the movable ceramic sheet (6). A control rod (2) is provided in a movable sleeve (4) on an upper portion of the movable disc (5). An operating handle (1) is connected with the control rod (2). The communication of the water outlet of the movable ceramic sheet (6) is controlled by lifting and pressing the operating handle, thereby controlling the amount of water flow. The thermostatic cool and hot water valve has the advantages in that the cost can be reduced greatly, and the cold and hot water can be mixed adequately and uniformly.
