<p>PURPOSE: A testing device and a testing method for designing the shape of an oil gallery and an oil inlet for an engine piston are provided to enable easy test to determine the shape of an oil gallery and an oil inlet of a piston for various engines. CONSTITUTION: A testing device for designing the shape of an oil gallery and an oil inlet for an engine piston comprises a frame(10), a chuck(20), a piston(30), a stage(40), and a beaker(50). The chuck is installed on the inner top of the frame. The piston is fixed to the upper end of the chuck. An oil inlet connected to the oil gallery is formed at the lower end of the piston. The top of the oil gallery is cut, so the oil gallery is exposed. The stage is mounted on the upper surface of the transport line. The stage is connected to a pump(85) formed in an oil tank(80). The stage comprises an injection jet(41) which periodically injects oil to the oil inlet. The beaker collects oil flowing in the oil inlet through a hose connected to the connection portion between the oil inlet and the oil gallery.</p> |
