PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an active material from falling off a battery electrode forming a battery element, and to improve the quality and safety of the battery. SOLUTION: In a negative electrode 11, an outer peripheral edge of an active material layer 13 is located at a position retreated from the outer peripheral edge of a negative electrode collector 12, and an outer peripheral end of the active material layer 13 is covered with an electrolytic layer 14. A positive electrode is manufactured similarly to the negative electrode 11, and the positive electrode and the negative electrode 11 are laminated in a state that active material layers thereof are faced to each other to form a battery element 3. |
