<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reducing the resistance and improving the PTC characteristics after an oxidation treatment of a multilayered thermistor. <P>SOLUTION: Specimens having a room temperature resistivity of ≤2×10<SP>4</SP>[Ωcm] and a PTC jump of ≥1.6 are plotted as squares and others having a room temperature resistivity and PTC characteristics beyond the above ranges are plotted as rhombus in the figure. As a result, a specimen having a required room temperature resistivity and PTC characteristics satisfies 2.35α-2.39<β<2.35α-2.32 (wherein 1.02≤α≤1.1). Namely, the room temperature resistivity and PTC characteristics can be controlled to be proper as a multilayered thermistor by controlling α and β within the above ranges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
