<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting display plate and a heating cooking appliance which are capable of easily forming complicated characters or patterns and enable a user to easily discriminate light emission. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting display plate 1 used to show a heating state of the heating cooking appliance includes a glass substrate 10 made of glass ceramics and a light emitting part 4 formed in at least a part of the glass substrate. The light emitting part 4 contains a fluorescent pigment which emits light by ultraviolet rays. The heating cooking appliance includes a heating means, an ultraviolet light emitting means, and the light emitting display plate 1. The light emitting display plate 1 is so disposed that a light emitting face 12 having the light emitting part 4 formed thereon is directed toward the ultraviolet light emitting means. The ultraviolet light emitting means is configured so as to radiate ultraviolet rays to the light emitting part 4 of the light emitting display plate 1 in association with a heating operation of the heating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
