<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for cleaning an application die by which the wear of a cleaning member can be considerably suppressed and productivity is increased without coating failure such as vertical stripe formation, color unevenness, missing application at the time of die cleaning and to provide a method and an apparatus for producing a color filter. SOLUTION: The method for cleaning an application die is a method for cleaning the face and its peripheral face of a discharge port of an application die for discharging a coating solution through the discharge port and after a liquid is applied to the peripheral face of the face of the discharge port, a cleaning member is slid on the face and its peripheral face of the discharge port in the longitudinal direction of the application die to remove the coating liquid.</p> |
