A decorative molding which, when a frame is formed on a glass plate by injection molding, is affixed to the frame simultaneously with the injection molding of the frame, and which does not cause an appearance failure during the injection molding and can have any of multiple colors; and a framed window glass plate for vehicles. The decorative molding comprises a shape part constituted of a metal, a coating film formed on a surface of the shape part by cationic electrodeposition, and a resinous coating film formed on the cationically electrodeposited coating film. The decorative molding is characterized by having the same color as the frame or the body of a car, the color having been imparted thereto by incorporating a pigment or dye into the resinous film, which is based on a melamine, acrylic, polyester, fluororesin, acrylic, or epoxy. The framed window glass plate for vehicles is formed by injecting a molten resin into a cavity, curing the resin to form a frame, and simultaneously affixing the decorative molding to the frame. |
