The outlet (10) has a main flow channel (12) comprising a branch (20) into two flow channels (22, 24) that are separated from each other by a separating wall (34). A guide (36) is provided at the branch and is actuated in such a manner that tablets (44) are selectively guided from the main flow channel into one of the flow channels. The guide has a guide channel (46) provided for the tablets and movable between two positions by a guide drive, where the main flow channel is connected with the two flow channels in the two positions, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a tablet press comprising a tablet outlet.
