<p>The invention relates to an atomizing device comprising at least one liquid container for holding a determined quantity of liquid, and a vibrating member arranged on or in a bottom wall of the container and in contact with the liquid at least during use, wherein the vibrating member is adapted to set at least a part of the liquid into vibration such that a mist of liquid is created above the liquid. By setting the liquid, such as an essential oil, into vibration with the vibrating member a better control of the intensity of the aroma is possible than with spray nozzles.
