The connection device (1) has an attachment medium (11) for a data line (11a) and another attachment medium (12) for another data line (12a). A switch unit (15) is operated with a connecting medium (14), when a third attachment medium (13) is attached to a counter piece (16). The former attachment medium is connected with the latter attachment medium for through connection of the data lines. An independent claim is also included for an automation equipment with control contact.
