A brassiere support assembly comprising: a base including a bearing surface; at least one brassiere support member supported by the base and including formations each having a surface contoured to conform generally to the shape of a brassiere cup thereby allowing the at least one brassiere to be supported by the support member; wherein the brassiere support member is adjustable relative to the base.
