摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered body by which an Fe-Al-Si alloy sintered body usable, owing to its excellent magnetic properties and high toughness, as e.g. machine parts to which external stress is applied can be easily manufactured and also to provide a sintered body manufactured by such a manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises: a granulation step where a plurality of core particles 1 composed of Fe-Al-Si alloy, a plurality of Ni-based metal particles 2 composed of Ni-based metallic material and a binder are mixed and granulated to prepare a granulated powder; a compaction step where the granulated powder is compacted into a prescribed shape to prepared a green body; a debinding step where debinding treatment is applied to the green body to prepare a brown body; and a firing step where the brown body is fired to obtain a sintered body 30. By this method, the sintered body 30 in which the Ni-based metal particles 2 are distributed among the plurality of core particles 1 can be obtained. In the sintered body 30, the brittle core particles 1 are reinforced by the high-toughness Ni-based metal particles 2 to improve overall toughness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
