<p>The device has animal identification devices (13, 14) cooperating with an animal identification unit provided in an animal, a computer controller (21), a milking robot (10) and electrically controllable access doors (18, 19). A controlled motion device moves, pivots or slides feeding troughs (11, 12) to a base position and an opened position. The troughs are moved to a height of a mouth of the animal in the base position, and milking places (8, 9) are opened in the opened position such that a straight travelling path is provided for the animal from and/or to the milking places. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement for accommodating a milking animal comprising a feeding area for receiving fodder for the animal (2) a method for computer controlled maintenance of a milking animal (3) a computer program product for executing a method for computer controlled maintenance of a milking animal.</p> |
