PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor controller capable of quickly and correctly conveying a recording medium to a target position, and an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: Unless the recording medium exceeds an intermediate position P<SB>ch</SB>, it is so set as to make a current increasing amount A<SB>f(n)</SB>decrease as the recording medium approaches a target position P<SB>ref</SB>. On the other hand, if the recording medium overrides the intermediate position P<SB>ch</SB>, the current increasing amount A<SB>f(n)</SB>is set to a constant value having a specified magnitude. Thus, in all division from the conveying start position to the target position P<SB>ref</SB>, the recording medium is quickly and correctly conveyed to the target position as compared with a case where the current increasing amount A<SB>f(n)</SB>is set to simply decrease as the recording medium approaches the target position P<SB>ref</SB>.
