The system (11) has a positioning sleeve (12) fastened in a drill jig (14) that is positioned in a mouth of a patient for positioning an implant, and a tool unit (16) inserted into the positioning sleeve. The tool unit has a guiding sleeve (17) for retaining a tool (18) e.g. boring tool, where the guiding sleeve is fastened at the tool. The positioning sleeve is inserted and locked in the guiding sleeve in a position secured manner, and the tool is retained and guided in the guiding sleeve in a longitudinally movable manner.
