PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open cell crosslinked polyolefin foam and a method for producing the same, having sufficient open cells in the outside in addition to the inside of the foam. SOLUTION: The open cell foam consists mainly of an amorphous polyolefin (such as a polypropylene homopolymer) and a crystalline polyolefin (such as an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer). The amorphous polyolefin is included in an amount of 25-30 pts.mass (preferably 3-15 pts.mass, more preferably 5-10 pts.mass) per 100 pts.mass of the sum of the amorphous polyolefin and the crystalline polyolefin. More preferably, the crystallinity of the amorphous polyolefin is 1% or below. |
