<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip compressor which can feed all chips stored in a hopper to a compression apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The chip compressor 100 comprises: a hopper 1 storing chips; a spiral screw 4 as a chip carrier part formed on the side of the bottom 1b of the hopper 1; and a compression cylinder block 10 compressing the chip carried by the spiral screw 4. The hopper 1 is fitted with a pushing member (exhaust assisting part) 2 assisting the exhaust of the chips from the hopper 1, so as to be freely slidable, and the edge face 2a in the pushing direction of the pushing member 2 is provided with a claw part 3 as a projection-shaped part for chip stirring, so as to be the shape of a claw bent backward to the side of the chip introduction port 1a of the hopper 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
