<p>A spline seal (20) for a hot gas path component (100) is provided. The spline seal (20) may include a first metal layer (22) and a second metal layer (24). The first metal layer (22) may have a first volumetric thermal expansion coefficient. The second metal layer (24) may be disposed adjacent the first metal layer (22) and have a second volumetric thermal expansion coefficient. The second volumetric thermal expansion coefficient may be higher than the first volumetric thermal expansion coefficient. When the spline seal (20) is exposed to a heat source, the first and second metal layers (22, 24) may deform to provide a seal between the hot gas path component (100) and an adjacent hot gas path component (100).</p> |
