The invention relates to a cap lifter for the plugging cap of a bottle neck, that comprises a lid (30) with a first hook (38) including a contact surface with an lower surface of the plugging cap (14), and a transmission lever (32) hinged on the lid and provided with a catching portion (52) and a working portion (54) capable of bearing against an upper surface of the plugging cap. It also includes two other hooks (40,42) including a contact surface with said lower surface and arranged so as to be offset in the circumferential direction on either side of the diametrically opposed position of the first hook by an angle lower than 90°, typically between 40° and 80°, and preferably between 40 and 50°.
