The invention relates to a molecule comprising an antibody fragment that specifically binds human A&bgr; peptide between amino acid positions 13-28, wherein a polyethylene glycol molecule is covalently attached to a CDR of the heavy chain variable region of the antibody in position 56 of SEQ ID NO: 2. The invention further relates to a composition comprising said molecule and use of the molecule in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of a condition associated with A&bgr; peptide activity.
