A unit for cleaning tuberous roots, in which a feed conveyer, a baffle mechanism, an arched cleaner are mounted in technological order. In the perforated surface of the latter cylindrical rollers are mounted in such a manner as to allow rotational movement in one direction, and the center of which is fitted with a screw with a rod body. The baffle mechanism is made as a series of spring-loaded blade beaters, arranged equidistantly, in the spaces, between which arched spring-loaded clampers are disposed, and the screw is made as a rod, bent into a spiral, the surface of said rod is fitted with a brush. |
