A process for milling cocoa shells comprises grinding milling cocoa shells under effect compressed air in a vortex processing apparatus. The cocoa shells travel in the air within the vortex processing apparatus without contacting a moving mechanical part. Thus treatment of the cocoa shells is carried out at reduced mechanical load on flour-milling equipment itself, and heating load on the cocoa shells is reduced or completely excluded. |
