REPOSITIONABLE SPINAL FIXATION DEVICE

A repositionable spinal fixation device comprises rods with fixation elements as monoaxial implants that have a lower part with self-tapping thread and a main part with external thread connected together by cross member. In order to provide adaptation of implant fixed in bone element and more reliable rod fixation in the system the fixation device additionally comprises a connector with clamp and lock and pivot head having a coupling with threaded axle, and a tightening screw. The connector is fixed with nut on the main implant part whereon two parallel lands are made, and in the front portion of the connector lock a threaded opening is made for connection with threaded axle of the pivot head coupling. Inside the coupling threaded opening is made wherein the tightening screw is arranged inside which the rod is located.
