PURPOSE: A cell-based complex index configuration method in a wireless data broadcasting and a system and a method for processing k neighboring queries using cell-based complex index are provided to reduce the energy using amount by preventing unnecessary data listening in query processing process of mobile client, thereby realizing the energy-efficiently query processing. CONSTITUTION: A distribution index processor(910) determines k neighboring search space for k neighboring query processing if the index is distribution index. The distribution index processing unit determines the cells which are overlapped with the determined k neighboring search space. If the index is cell index, a cell index processor(920) determines the k neighboring data about a query point. A broadcasting server(960) configures the cell-based hybrid index including the distribution index and the cell index. |
