PURPOSE: A polishing device for a flat plate display panel, a driving method thereof, and a repair system including the same are provided to detect defective pixels and protrusions without contacting with a flat plate display panel. CONSTITUTION: A polishing device for a flat plate display panel(600) comprises a repair table(100), x and y-axis moving units(210,220), an image measuring unit(400), and a polishing unit(300). A stage(500) is located on the top of the repair table, and settles the flat plate display panel. The x-axis moving unit is located on the repair table, and the y-axis moving unit is located on the x-axis moving unit. The image measuring unit detects protrusions formed in the flat plate display panel. The polishing unit polishes the protrusions by pressurizing a polishing tape. A camera of the polishing unit generates image information. |
