The device has a mechanical sliding connector interposed between a frame (15) and a pedal (4). A guide (1) of the mechanical sliding connector is assembled on the frame by a pivot connector (31). A slide (3) of the mechanical sliding connector is assembled on the pedal by a complete connector. Distance between a top part of a seat and a rotation axis of a shaft of the pedal is increased when the slide is in maximum position in which the slide leaves the guide.
