The rod (4) has metal electrodes glued on two opposed surfaces of a resistive element i.e. positive temperature coefficient resistor, where the rod is flexible and bent along a folding line (15). The metal electrodes, the resistive element and a heat sink have a radius of curvature (R) ranging from 0.2 m to 1 m. Each electrode is interposed between the resistive element and the heat sink that is connected to the electrode by brazing. An independent claim is also included for an electric heater comprising a connector.
