The device (1) has a cover panel (2) delimited by two side edges (3, 4) that are arranged opposite with each other. The cover panel is intended to close an opening arranged in a wing structure of a body of a vehicle in a tight manner. The cover panel comprises an elastically deformable gripping unit that is deformed under effect of pinching and partly attached to the side edges such that the cover panel is inserted into the opening. The gripping units are arranged in a central zone (5) of the cover panel.
