The machine (0) has a peristaltic pump (1) pumping reagent contained in a reagent tank (2). A calculating module (8) comprises a program to determine the reagent to be injected. An outlet of the pump has a dosage needle (5) that injects a quantity of reagent adapted to a quantity of a sample after reading information corresponding to content of a tube (30) containing the sample. A control module controls displacement of a tube carrier (31) whose radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip is read by an RFID chip reader (41). A display module (81) displays a choice screen to choose the reagent. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a reagent injecting machine.
