PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure and a fitting method for a slider capable of improving positioning precision of a tip of the slider. SOLUTION: A positioning boss 13 inserted into a positioning hole part 24a formed in the slider 20 to position the slider 20, a positioning projection part 19 for determining a position of one end of the slider 20, and a caulked boss 17 for receiving the other end of the slider 20 are provided on a fitting surface 14a of a slider receiver 14 fitted with the slider 20. The caulked boss 17 is caulked in a state where the positioning boss 13 is inserted into the positioning hole part 24a of the slider 20 and the other end 28 of the slider 20 is received by the caulked boss 17, and the one end 29 of the slider 20 abuts against the positioning projection part 19 to position the one end 29 of the slider 20.
