PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer improved in reliability in electrical connection. SOLUTION: The printer is equipped with: a printer body 180 having a first housing 200 containing a printing part 70 for printing information including accounting information at least on a sheet of paper: and a control part 300 having a second housing 31 containing a memory circuit 80 which stores at least a part of information so as to be nonvolatile, and a control circuit 78 which controls the printer body 180. The control part 300 has a connecting terminal 43 for transmitting a signal to control the printer body 180 and the information; the printer body 180 has a receiving terminal 91 connected to the connecting terminal 43; and the connecting terminal 43 and/or the receiving terminal 91 is provided rockingly in a direction nearly orthogonal to the connecting direction of the connecting terminal 43 and the receiving terminal 91.
