PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction device for a vacuum cleaner that improves the durability of a group of brushes and stably supplies negative ions to a surface to be cleaned. SOLUTION: The suction device for the vacuum cleaner includes: a body 1 of the suction device which provides a suction port 15 at the lower surface; a rotating brush 7 which is freely rotatably attached to the section near the port 15; a brush 8 which is arranged at the outer circumference of the brush 7 and made of a material positioned on a positive side of the charge order; and a cylindrical wearable member 10 which is arranged at the brush 7 and made of a material positioned on a negative side of the charge order.
