PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent game media from falling from a gap between an each-machine counting device and a lower tray of a game machine while avoiding influence of erroneous operation, and to easily avoid interference with a front door of the game machine. SOLUTION: The each-machine counting device includes a falling preventive cover made of a non-stretch material whose height can be adjusted and held, so that the gap formed between the counting device and the lower tray of the game machine is filled by the falling preventive cover. The each-machine counting device also includes a sliding mechanism for sliding the falling preventive cover, so that the falling preventive cover is retreated to a position not to interfere with the front door by the sliding mechanism when the front door of the game machine is opened/closed.
