PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage processor for effectively utilizing capacity of a storage device in a RAID (Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks) system. SOLUTION: A NAS 20 for connecting a plurality of removable hard disks 251 or the like includes: a RAID control unit which controls a RAID constituted by using the removable hard disk 251 or the like; and an available storage capacity setting unit 201 which sets, when the removable hard disk 251 or the like is connected, an available storage capacity, that can be actually used by the removable hard disk 251 or the like in the RAID, by use of the actual storage capacity of the removable hard disk 251 or the like.
