To effectively reduce a leakage rate in a mask provided with a leak preventing section adapted to be interposed between a mask body and a wearer's face when the mask is worn. A leak preventing section 14 of a mask 10 includes a first sheet part 22 capable of being laid on a mask body 12; a first connection 24 connecting the first sheet part to the mask body; a second sheet part 26 capable of being laid on the first sheet part; a second connection 28 different from the first connection, and connecting the second sheet part to the first sheet part; a third connection 30 different from the first and second connections, and connecting the first and second sheet parts to the mask body to form a pocket-shape folded configuration 32 between the mask body and the first and second sheet parts; and a fourth connection 34 different from the first, second and third connections, and connecting a wearing band 16 to the second sheet part. |
