The system (1) has a control device (2) connected to a voltage source (9) i.e. vehicle battery, over a supply conduit (7) and connected downstream to a drive and/or electromotor (3). A threshold voltage value is assigned to power supply voltage (UV) of the control device, where the motor is shutdown when the power supply voltage of the control device is smaller or equal to the threshold voltage value. The threshold voltage value is adapted to operational alteration of the power supply voltage of the control device.
