摘要 <p>Through the present disclosures, compared with when locking up of a wheel is detected and braking force is controlled, braking distance can be shortened and a vehicle can be safely and reliably braked on a variety of road surfaces. The disclosed electric vehicle (1), which has two electric motors (3) that independently drive the front left and right wheels (2fr, 2fl) and the rear left and right wheels (2rr, 2rl), is provided with: a friction brake mechanism that can apply braking force resulting from friction force to each wheel (2); and a control device (10) that induces both braking force resulting from the friction brake mechanism and braking force resulting from the electric motor (3) in response to the amount of braking operation, and when the slip ratio of at least any one of the wheels (2) exceeds a first predetermined value set in accordance with the coefficient of friction of the road surface, that performs control to decrease the braking force resulting from the electric motor (3) regardless of the amount of braking operation.</p>
