<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the standby time for transmitting a packet to be transmitted, even if there are a number of radio nodes to be participated in a radio network, and to improve use efficiency of time slots, even if there are few radio nodes that participate in the radio network. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus has a beacon term determination unit and a packet transmission and reception control unit. Based on the total of the number of time slots requested for transmitting data from another radio communication apparatus contained in a beacon transmitted by the other radio communication apparatus and the number of time slots to be requested for transmitting data to the other radio communication apparatus, the beacon term determination unit determines a beacon term to transmit the beacon. The packet transmission/reception control unit controls so as to transmit a packet using a time slot which should transmit the packet to the other radio communication apparatus, in accordance with the beacon term, and to receive a packet form the other radio communication apparatus using any other time slot than that time slot for transmission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
