PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION FOR BLUE-VIOLET SEMICONDUCTOR LASER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitizer having excellent spectroscopic sensitivity to a blue-violet semiconductor laser, a photosensitive composition for the blue-violet semiconductor laser using the sensitizer and an image forming material.

SOLUTION: The sensitizer contains a squarylium compound comprising a squarylium compound ion expressed by general formulas (A)-(D) in the specification and hydrogen ion or transition metal ion. The photosensitive composition for the blue-violet semiconductor laser and the image forming material are prepared using an ethylenic unsaturated compound and a photopolymerization initiator.
