<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for exercising electric stimulation treatment to achieve the higher uniformity in the treatment. <P>SOLUTION: An electric stimulation system for providing signals to a person to be treated includes: at least one electric source; a first switching device for intermittently connecting an output from the electric source to one or more connection probes connected electrically to the person to be treated; a second switching device for intermittently connecting one or more connection probes connected electrically to the person to be treated, so as to form an electric-current-returning route for the electric current supplied by the electric source; and a switching-control device connected to the first and second switching devices. The intermittent connection of the output from the electric source or the intermittent formation of the electric-current-returning route is changed during the treatment, so that the first and second switching devices are switched independently of each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
