<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on a brake feeling caused by transmission during regenerative braking operation. <P>SOLUTION: A brake control device including a motor connected to wheels via a transmission mechanism includes: a regenerative brake unit which gives the wheels regenerative braking force by regeneration of the motor; a friction brake unit which gives the wheels a friction braking force; and a control part for controlling the regenerative brake unit and the friction brake unit so as to generate a requested braking force by using regenerative braking force and the friction braking force together.
