<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-power supply surge counter that does not include batteries and alternating current power supplies of AC 100 V. <P>SOLUTION: In the surge counter, a surge current to flow in a grounding wire of an arrestor is detected by a current transformer 2, and the operation number of the arrestor based on its surge current is counted and accumulated by an electromagnetic counter 9. The surge counter is structured of: a bridge type rectifying circuit 20 which is connected to a secondary winding wire 18 of the current transformer 2, and rectifies a secondary current outputted from the current transformer 2; and capacitors 21, 22 which are connected to an output side of the bridge type rectifying circuit 20 and drive the electromagnetic counter 9 by energy accumulated based on the output of the bridge type rectifying circuit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
