<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high density by compensating for the dispersion, in a recording magnetic field or a microwave magnetic field due to errors in manufacturing of a magnetic recording head or an oscillator, in a microwave-assisted magnetic recording system. <P>SOLUTION: The microwave-assisted magnetic recording head 100 includes a main magnetic pole 120, that generates the recording magnetic field to be recorded on a magnetic recording medium; a shield 130; and the oscillator 110, that is provided between the main magnetic pole 120 and the shield 130 and generates the microwave magnetic field. The microwave-assisted magnetic recording head is provided with a thermal expansion device 150 for adjusting a relative position between the oscillator 110 and the main magnetic pole 120 so as to be able to independently adjust the recording magnetic field from the main magnetic pole 120 and the microwave magnetic field from the oscillator 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
