PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for generating laser output information and a laser working system capable of performing uniform laser engraving for a wood irrespective of the shading of color or the wood grain of the wood. SOLUTION: The apparatus for generating laser output information includes: an image information storage part 24a for storing image information of the surface of compressed wood W; a coordinate information storage part 24b for storing coordinate information of a locus of a center of a laser spot of a laser beam corresponding to an engraving pattern generated on the surface of the compressed wood W; an area division processing part 25a for dividing an area where the engraving pattern is generated on the basis of the image information into a wood grain area and a plurality of color areas determined in accordance with the shading of the color as areas other than the wood grain area; and a laser output information generation part 25b which refers to coordinate information and information of divided areas and generates laser output information including irradiation energy per unit time and unit area of the laser beam emitted to the locus, wherein the irradiation energy per unit time and unit area of the laser beam is set for each divided area and the irradiation energy is smaller, as the color of an area is thicker in the plurality of color area.
