PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reduce and convert a redundant URL (Uniform Resource Locator) in a mail text transmitted from a mail sender based on an original URL, and to present a readable URL to a mail recipient. SOLUTION: A mail reception part 11 acquires mail transmitted from a transmission terminal 6, a URL extraction part 12 extracts the URL included in the mail text, and a URL conversion part 13 reduces the URL according to a predetermined rule, and converts it into the readable URL. The URL conversion part 13 stores the pre-conversion URL and the converted URL, in association with each other, in an information DB 15. A mail transmission part 14 transmits the converted mail to a reception terminal 7. When acquiring a page display request of a Web page corresponding to the converted URL from the reception terminal 7, a URL correspondence relation solution part 16 retrieves the pre-conversion URL corresponding to the converted URL from the information DB 15, and displays the Web page corresponding to the pre-conversion URL on the reception terminal 7.
