PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and non-bulky paper hanger capable of being easily disposed of or recycled, and excellent in the strength. SOLUTION: The paper hanger 1 is formed of coated cardboard, and includes a hanger body 2 and a hook portion 3 as separate bodies. A slit-shaped hook attaching portion 9 into which the hook portion 3 is inserted is disposed in the hanger body 2. The hook portion 3 includes hook pieces 12a and 12b disposed across a bending portion 11, and having hook holes 13a and 13b, respectively. The hook piece 12a has a locking projection 15, and the hook piece 12b has a locking hole 16. The hook portion 3 is double-folded in such a way that the hook pieces 12a and 12b are layered on each other while the hook portion is inserted into the hook attaching portion 9. By inserting the locking projection 15 into the locking hole 16, the hook pieces 12a and 12b are joined with each other, so that the hook portion 3 is attached to the hanger body 2.
