PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply constitute an electric power steering device including two electric motors. SOLUTION: This electric power steering device includes a rack shaft 1 moving in an axial direction to steer a wheel, a driving unit 10 for generating driving force to move the rack shaft 1, a driving pulley 22 to be rotated by driving force of the driving unit 10, a driven pulley 24 to be rotated by a belt 23 wound between the driven pulley 24 and the driving pulley 22, and a ball screw mechanism 30 to convert rotation of the driven pulley 24 into moving of the rack shaft 1 in the axial direction. The driving unit 10 includes the first electric motor 11 to rotate the driving pulley 22 by rotation of an output shaft 11a, a second electric motor 12 provided oppositely to the first electric motor 11 to rotate the driving pulley 22 by rotation of an output shaft 12a, and a coupling 15 for connecting the output shaft 11a and the output shaft 12a in series.
