PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor improving the easy of work when assembly by forming a structure allowing a vibration control elastic material to be easily pressed and held in a gap between an accumulator and a compressor body. SOLUTION: The rotary compressor 10 includes: a mounting bracket 16 fixed to a side wall face of the compressor body 11 and having a pair of right and left arm pieces 16b, which are formed to expand outward of a direction in which the accumulator 12 is mounted, and slits formed in the respective arm pieces 16b; a fastening belt 17 holding the accumulator 12 together with the mounting bracket 16 with one end side mounted to the end of one of the arm pieces 16b and the other end extended around the outside of the side wall of the accumulator 12 and mounted to the end of the other arm piece; and a pair of right and left elastic bodies 20 having projections 20a capable of being fitted into the slits of the arm pieces 16b and having a block shape held between the mounting bracket 16 and the accumulator 12.
