PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter housing structure, which allows attachment of a filter to an existing casing without additional processing, and can respond to an increase in slits or in combination use with a ventilating member by easy operation. SOLUTION: The filter housing structure to be attached to casings 1, 11 includes frame bodies 2, 12 formed into a substantially U-shape by bending a plate material, and including an attachment means 3, 13 to the casings 1, 11; a rail members 4, 14 fitted to the frame bodies 2, 12 so as to be expansible/contractible, and including a fixing means 5, 15 to the frame bodies 2, 12; and a filter members 6, 16 to be fitted to the rail members 4, 14 or the frame bodies 2, 12, or fitted to the rail members 4, 14 and the frame bodies 2, 12.
