PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative bolt for fixing a pipe member, which can be screw-operated by shortening an overall length in screw attachment even under the attached state of the pipe member, which can be fixed in an overlapping manner to a coupling portion of an existing pipe clutching member by being restored to an original state after the screw attachment, and which can sufficiently secure pipe member holding strength without a remarkable deterioration in strength by a simple constitution; and to provide a fitting for fixing the pipe member, using the bolt. SOLUTION: This bolt for fixing the pipe member includes an overlap plate portion 8 which is provided in the state of continuing into an attachment bolt portion 3 and superposed, coupled and fixed to the coupling portion 6 of the pipe clutching member 5, and a movable overlap plate portion 9 which is movably provided on the overlap plate portion 8 and superposed, coupled and fixed to the coupling portion 6. The bolt for fixing the pipe member is constituted to be movable and switchable to a short-length state in the screw attachment operation of being shortened by turning and sliding with respect to the overlap plate portion 8.
